Our CompanyKenworth Electric Motors and Universal Motors are divisions of Kenworth Products Ltd, which was formed in 1992 as Sole U.K. Distributor for FFD (Frank & Dvorak) Electric Motors of Austria.
Universal Motors - the Suffolk based motor supplier, formerly Efacec (UK), was purchased by Kenworth Products Ltd in September 2005 to cover the South of England and will have the service and large stocks currently associated with Kenworth's Northern office in Huddersfield.
Soon after Kenworth was formed it became evident that one supplier could not offer all of the different types of motors that our customers were asking for. To cater for this E.M.G of Italy were soon on board supplying in particular Single Phase Motors. Then followed Bartec-Varnost for Flameproof Motors and more recently Electromotor began to supply us with their range of good quality and very competitively priced, EFF2 Electric Motors for a marketplace where price as well as quality is important.
All of our suppliers have in common a desire for quality and service and all motors are manufactured to ISO9001. This is continued when the Motors reach us. A fully documented quality procedure ensures all items are examined and then every Motor is checked and run before despatch. At this point every motor is given an individual number for total traceability. Our workshop enables us to custom build small order specials and also make non-standard fitments.
We strive to become a supplier for every type of A.C motor and now include in our product profile, NEMA frame, Slip Ring, High Voltage, EExd and EExe, Marine Motors, Coolant Pumps and all types of special motors. Single Phase types are a speciality with both 110 and 230volt in stock.
It is our mission to cater for our customers ever changing requirements. Kenworth Products Ltd is constantly looking to broaden its stock profile as well as stocking Motors in greater depth. We stock the motors others do not and service is everything.
